Telling Your Story: One Script At A Time - A Competition!
The 10th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) call for entries is now open! We are accepting short- and feature-length scripts of all genres. UMFF takes place October 14-16, 2011 at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth, Georgia.

All scripts accepted for UMFF are eligible for competition, and winners will be announced at UMFF 2011. The top three scripts will revealed by having a scene from their project performed live by local actors. Awards and prizes! [more]

Script Frenzy in a Nutshell - April 1-30, 2011
Join the Urban Mediamakers in April 2011 for the Script Frenzy. Script Frenzy is an international writing event in which participants take on the challenge of writing 100 pages of scripted material in the month of April. There is no fee to participate; there are also no valuable prizes awarded or "best" scripts singled out. Every writer who completes the goal of 100 pages is victorious and awe-inspiring. Who: You and everyone you know. No experience required.

What: 100 pages of original scripted material in 30 days. (Screenplays, stage plays, TV shows, short films, and graphic novels are all welcome.)

Where: Online and in person (if you want!). Meeting locations TBA.
