Creatives Relief Fund

Urban Mediamakers Raises Money To Offer Grants Helping Creatives Whose Livelihoods Have Been Impacted by COVID-19

On March 24, 2020, U.S. government passed a $2 Trillion stimulus package in response to the new coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic . This stimulus package provides:

  • One-Time $1,200 Payment to Most Adults (Taxpayers), $500/Child
  • Four Months of Unemployment Insurance instead of Three Paying Your Entire (Nearly Entire) Salary
  • $130 Billion Hospitals
  • $150 Billion State and Local Governments
  • $350 Billion Small Business
  • $500 Billion Corporations

While we are happy the stimulus provides help to corporations, state/local governments, hospitals and some small businesses, we know there are millions of independent creatives and contractors who will be left out of this bailout.
